Burnley Women have added significant club and international experience to their squad with the signing of midfielder Jamie Finn.
The 28-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the Clarets, following her departure from fellow Barclays Women’s Super League 2 side Sunderland earlier this summer.
Reflecting on the move, she said: “I’m very excited to be here and I’m happy to sign for this club. It’s a massive club with a lot of history.
“The conversations that I’ve had with the club and the management team have been very positive.
“Their ambitions are really good, and I want to be a part of that.
“I think it’s a professional environment that I can rally progress in. You come in every day wanting to work hard, so to have the facilities that we do here will make that even easier.”

After growing up in her native Republic of Ireland, Finn spent 2016 with the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles in the American college system.
Then came a four-year spell back at Shelbourne, in which highlights included taking part in UEFA Champions League qualifying and being named in the league’s team of the season.
2021 saw her move to England for the first time and she ultimately spent three years with Birmingham City, totalling 56 appearances at BWSL2 level.
During the 2025/26 season she represented Sunderland 15 times, a significant milestone after recovering from an ACL injury.
Finn takes great pride in her heritage and has earned 22 senior Republic of Ireland caps to date, following her debut against Greece in November 2019.
Having now moved to Lancashire on a permanent basis, the midfielder is looking forward to running out in front of the Burnley fans for the first time.
