Johann Berg Gudmundsson admits he is 'enjoying every minute' of the current campaign, as the Icelandic wideman looked ahead to this weekends game at Turf Moor.

The Clarets no.7, who already has two goals and two assists this season, talked about his form this season, the opening goal at Loftus Road last week and using the home advantage on Saturday.

Gudmundsson on returning to Turf Moor:

"It's always nice to play at home, we've been doing really well and we want to keep that going this weekend.

"The support has been amazing this season, not just at home but away too, so the first game back after quite a long spell away will be nice.

"Back at Turf Moor in front of our fans and hopefully we can put in a good performance for the fans."

Gudmundsson the season so far for him:

"I'm really enjoying it a lot, I just want to be on the pitch as much as possible, training as much as possible and just keeping on top.

"The staff here as well have been really good and managed my load really well and I'm enjoying every minute."

Gudmundsson on his free-kick goal last week:

"It's a good story, ha-ha! As people may have seen, I took a free-kick in training the day before the game and it went in and the drone caught the footage and Vinny was watching too.

"But then in the meeting before the game he had the clip in their and he said we score plenty in training and said we needed to start scoring them in games and that's what I did!"

Gudmundsson on facing Middlesbrough:

"I think they have picked up some good results over the past few weeks, before the break especially.

"They have a new manager, where teams can get that bounce sometimes, so we know it will be tough.

"But we have to use the home support in our advantage, do what we do and and hopefully come away with the three points."
