It wasn't to be for Burnley U21s on Sunday afternoon, with Blackburn Rovers scoring either side of half-time to earn three Premier League 2 points.
With the fixture schedule throwing up two games in as many days there was just one player regularly involved in the U21s group playing here, and the starting XI was made up of four U18s, four U17s, and two U16s.
