Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm that Florentino has joined the Club on a permanent basis from S.L Benfica, following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.
The Portuguese midfielder made the move to East Lancashire last summer and made his debut against Liverpool, before registering his first assist for the Clarets just four games later in a 2-0 win over Leeds United.
Florentino, who carries a wealth of UEFA Champions League and Portugal U21 experience, tallied up a total of 33 appearances for Burnley in all competitions throughout his first year at Turf Moor.
The 26-year-old had an obligation to make the move permanent included in his transfer to the Club, which was triggered during last season.
