Burnley Women are celebrating a first, having had five players called up by their national teams during the international window that is live now.

Brenna McPartlan is now away with Northern Ireland, alongside January additions Danielle Maxwell and Louise McDaniel.

Elsewhere, Reanna Blades is linking up with Jamaica once again and young midfielder Amelia Oldroyd has been called up by Scotland U19s.

Because of the call-ups, the team’s trip to West Bromwich Albion that was scheduled for Sunday 23rd February has now been postponed.

Northern Ireland have two UEFA Women’s Nations League B Group 1 matches, starting with a trip to Gdansk to take on Poland on Friday 21st February.

Four days later they will take to the field at Larne’s Inver Park against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Having been called up by Jamaica for the first time back in October for a friendly against France, Blades will once again link up with the ‘Reggae Girlz’ next week.

On the agenda is a training camp and friendly matches against Peru.

Finally, January addition Amelia Oldroyd has been called up Scotland U19s. The midfielder qualifies for the nation via her Grandmother and this is the first time she will represent the 'Tartan Army'.

The young Scots have back-to-back friendlies against Iceland at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld, which act as valuable preparation for their final set of Round 2 UEFA European qualifiers at the start of April.
