Seven first-team players are currently out on loan across the Premier League, Football League, and Belgian Pro League.
Dutch international Wout Weghorst was on the scoresheet in the UEFA Europa League for Manchester United this week, while Irishman Dara Costelloe helped Bradford City to a point in Sky Bet League One with an assist at the weekend.
Here’s a round-up of how all seven have fared over the last seven days.
CJ Egan-Riley (Hibernian)
Versatile Egan-Riley stepped into midfield for Hibs as Rangers visited Easter Road on Wednesday night.
Lee Johnson’s side took the lead early on through an own goal, but went on to concede four unanswered goals in a 4-1 defeat, their first in eight league outings. Hibs didn’t have a league game at the weekend with the Scottish Cup quarter-finals taking centre stage north of the border.
