Burnley Football Club can confirm that Lucy Farrell has joined Stockport County Ladies on loan until the end of the calendar year.
The goalkeeper joined the Clarets in the summer of 2021 and has totalled 23 appearances since.
Farrell started the team’s last two matches of the 2023/24 season, keeping goal as Burnley beat West Didsbury & Chorlton to win the Lancashire FA Women’s Senior Cup and playing at Turf Moor against Derby County on the final day.
She now links up with the Hatters, who compete in the fourth tier of the women’s football pyramid and beat Norton & Stockton 3-0 at the weekend.
