Nathan Tella's double in a 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town at Turf Moor proved to be the difference as the Clarets booked their Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie with Fleetwood Town.
The forward opened the scoring in the 1st minute, before George Hirst equalised for the visitors just a minute later. But Tella then struck again in the final minute of the game to continue the Clarets' FA Cup journey.
Manager Vincent Kompany made seven changes from the side that beat Norwich City 3-0 last weekend.
Ameen Al-Dakhil and Charlie Taylor came in for Jordan Beyer and Hjalmar Ekdal in the centre of defence, with Jack Cork and Samuel Bastien replacing Josh Brownhill and Josh Cullen in central midfield.
Meanwhile Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Ashley Barnes and Anass Zaroury made way for Vitinho, Scott Twine and full debutant Lyle Foster in attack.

First Half
The Clarets got off to a dream start under the Turf Moor lights, as Foster worked his way into the area and teed up Nathan Tella from close range to hammer home and give the hosts a 46 second lead.
But in a frantic start to the game Town levelled up the cup tie just a minute later, as Kayden Jackson picked out Hirst inside the box to fire low past Peacock-Farrell.
After a lively opening the game then settled down with the Clarets enjoying plenty of possession and Bastien then tried his luck from range but Czech goalkeeper Hladky was there to deny the Congolese midfielder’s effort.
Ipswich then forced a corner as Humphreys’ goal bound strike from distance was palmed away from danger by Peacock-Farrell.

In an equal first-half Kieran McKenna’s side had another opportunity on goal as the half-time whistle approached, when Marcus Harness fierce drive was saved well by the Clarets’ No.15 between the sticks.
Second Half
The Clarets started on the front foot in the second 45 and came close to another early goal as Tella’s effort from outside the area was tipped over the bar from Hladky.
The Tractor Boys had another chance of their own on the hour mark as Jackson weaved into the box and forced Peacock-Farrell to push his effort wide of the post.
As Kompany’s side searched for a winner the Burnley boss turned to his bench with 20 minutes to go of normal time and brought on Cullen, Brownhill and Churlinov in place of Bastien, Cork and Vitinho.
Burnley were then denied a spot-kick with 10 minutes to play, as Town defender Luke Woolfenden wiped out Tella inside the area but referee Scott Oldham waved away the appeals.
