Burnley Football Club can confirm that defender Maxime Estève has signed for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig in a permanent move for an undisclosed fee.
Estève made the move to East Lancashire in January 2024 on an initial loan deal, where he made 16 appearances in the top-flight for the Clarets, before making the deal permanent in the summer.
The centre-back went on to play all 46 Sky Bet Championship fixtures the following campaign, forming part of the history-making defence that helped Burnley reach the Premier League once again.
A mainstay in the top-flight last season, Estève played 34 times in the league and departs Turf Moor as a fan favourite.
The Club would like to thank Maxime for all his efforts over the last two-and-a-half years and wish him the best of luck at RB Leipzig.
