Tony Philliskirk’s U18 side have been drawn at home against Blackburn Rovers in the quarter-finals of the Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup.
After drawing 1-1 at home against their East Lancashire counterparts in league action last season, the young Clarets came out on top in the reverse fixture with Will Couch nodding home a last-minute winner.
Reaching the semi-finals of the LFA Professional Youth Cup last term, Burnley were handed a bye in Round 1 of the competition this time around while Rovers beat Morecambe 3-0 to progress into the last eight.
The quarter-final tie is set to take place on Tuesday, November 1 with a 14:00 kick-off at the Burnley Training Centre.
