The Clarets 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur midweek has resulted in Sean Dyche and the squad receiving the LMA Performance of the Week Award.
The experienced and highly distinguished League Managers Association panel comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett, Barry Fry and Rachel Yankey, has managed a combined total of over 6,500 competitive matches in professional football.
The Gaffer will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LMA Performance of the Week trophy.
Clarets Captain Ben Mee headed home in the 72nd minute, with Sean Dyche making two changes to the squad that won at Brighton - with James Tarkowski and Jay Rodriguez coming in for Nathan Collins and Maxwel Cornet.
In the tightly contested clash, captain Mee proved to be the match-winner when he steered his header from Josh Brownhill’s free-kick beyond Hugo Lloris to earn the three points.
