Sean Dyche has recalled the favourite games of his memorable reign at Burnley.
The Clarets boss has enjoyed two promotions and brought European football back to Turf Moor for the first time in half a century during his eight years in charge, which currently puts him third in the all-time list of longest serving Burnley managers.
And Dyche has selected three top-flight games that gave him the most satisfaction.
He said: “There are a number of memorable games, for different reasons, because you have things like the big promotion games.
“But as a measure of the enormity, I wouldn’t go far from Manchester United away last season, when we won 2-0, just because of the history of it.

"Going to Old Trafford, is very difficult, let alone winning there for the first time since 1962.
"Then there was the 2-0 win here against Liverpool in 2016. I think that’s still statistically the lowest percentage of possession for a team, and yet we delivered a defensive masterclass to see that through and win by two excellent goals.

"Then, finally, I think the 3-2 win at Chelsea on the opening day of the 2017/18 season.
"We went down there and nobody gave us a chance, but we performed really well and had a couple of twists of fate with the sendings off and won the game.”

Dyche, who has twice masterminded promotion to the Premier League, added: “They are favourites because of the magnitude, but with regards to my all-time favourite, that would definitely be when we beat Wigan here at Turf Moor, in 2014, to gain promotion for the first time.
"That will never be replaced in my thinking of Burnley.

“I know some will perhaps say it should be beating Blackburn away in March, 2014, and just to be clear that would be up there, but I always say that is one for the fans, not from a personal point of view.
“I remember when I first got here, at my first board meeting, one of the directors asked me ‘will you beat Blackburn for us?’
“I think we’ve gone way beyond that now, but I do remind him to this day that it’s all he ever asked for!”
