Despite making a handful of crucial saves, Goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka was keen to give plenty of praise to his teammates, after going a goal behind in just the second minute, to then go and grab the equaliser and battle until the final whistle in an end-to-end encounter with Nottingham Forest.
Forest took the lead through Neco Williams' early strike, before Jaidon Anthony turned home his third goal of the Premier League campaign to draw the scores level.
There were chances for both sides to potentially win the game, after Burnley dominated a large part, Forest then saw a couple of late opportunities denied by Dúbravka.
Speaking to Clarets+ post-match, the Burnley No.1 highlighted his side's response to going behind and the efforts the team showed in difficult conditions against Europa League opposition.
"It was a difficult game, we conceded early on, but I think we showed great character and togetherness to get the point and it's probably a fair result in the end."
The 36-year-old added: "Going behind so early does test you and tests what you are about and your character, but we were not scared and reacted really well I thought.
"We scored a goal and could have scored a couple more, but we stayed in the game, dug in really hard in tough conditions and came away with a deserved point."
The Slovakia international continued: "When you're playing at home, you always try to win the games and after the last two games conceding so late in penalties, we were very keen to ensure we got a result.
"This is our fortress and we want as many wins as possible here, but if you look at the game overall they did create some chances, so we take the point and move on."
Dúbravka was forced into action on seven occasions against Forest, with two of them coming in the final 10 minutes and the shot-stopper was very humble when questioned on the saves.
"Look I'll be honest, I'm just trying to do my best for the team and they are always helping me. Everyone fought so hard today, some big blocks, big tackles and we are all in this together.
"At the end of the day, every point counts and at the end of the season, it may be a big point for us, so we will take it."
