Burnley Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Sam Waller has joined Lancaster City on a month-long youth loan which is set to run until November 6.
Stockport-born, Waller first joined the Clarets academy at the age of 12, progressing through the ranks to become the U23s number one last term. He made 20 appearances in Premier League 2.
Involved with the first-team on a regular basis at the Burnley Training Centre, the shot stopper was named on the bench in Burnley’s 3-0 Premier League victory at Brighton & Hove Albion in February 2022
Waller signed his first professional contract with the Club last month, and will now head out on loan to Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Lancaster.
