The 2026 Dude Perfect International Youth Cup is now two thirds complete following another day full of drama in Padiham.

The day started with the final round of group fixtures, and both of the Group A fixtures featured RCD Espanyol.

They recorded a 4-1 victory over Burnley and lost to Chicago Fire to finish top of the group and progress to the cup bracket alongside Rangers.

Toulouse and Burnley made the plate bracket, with the young Clarets having to contest a penalty shootout to finish above Chicago Fire.

Group B was won by Genk, thanks in part to a 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday morning.

Manchester United and Atalanta both finished with seven points, but the former finished second thanks to a superior goal difference. As such, the Italians join Brentford in the Plate bracket.

In Group C, Borussia Dortmund and PSV both recorded nine points from a possible 12 to book their spot in the Cup competition. Dortmund’s goals tally of 18 was a group stage high.

Lech Poznan and Pro Elite United finished 3rd and 4th respectively, with the former recording a comfortable 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Saturday morning.

Valencia and Dinamo Zagreb were the top two of Group D with 10 points apiece, with the Spaniards’ goal difference of six bettering Zagreb’s four.

Sporting Lisbon and Tottenham Hotspur were the last pair to slot into the Plate bracket after playing out a goalless draw in Saturday’s 9am kick-off.

10 more games were played on Saturday afternoon, including all eight Cup and Plate quarter finals.

In the Cup bracket there were victories for RCD Espanyol, Genk, Dinamo Zagreb, and Rangers, with the standout result being Dinamo Zagreb’s 7-1 triumph over Borussia Dortmund.

The Plate quarter finals were won by Brentford, Atalanta, Lech Poznan, and Sporting Lisbon.
