Midfielder Jack Cork had high praise for the Burnley faithful after the Clarets' 2-1 win at Swansea City on Monday, which saw Vincent Kompany's men move five points clear at the top of the Sky Bet Championship.
An Ian Maatsen brace in the first half gave the Clarets a two goal advantage, before Ollie Cooper clawed one back for the hosts before the break.
But the visitors held on for another big three points and a third win in just six days and post-match Cork discussed the sacrifices that have been made over the Christmas period to be successful and a special mention to the supporters for their magnificent support this season and in South Wales.
Cork said: “It’s huge for us, anytime you can win away in any league is massive, so to do it three times over the Christmas period is even better.
“There's been so many games in a row and it’s just a massive three points for us at this stage of the season.
“I have just got to say a big thank everyone who have had to sacrifice a lot over the last couple of weeks.
“Like the manager has said recently, it’s easy to go out and enjoy yourself and stuff with your family and friends over this time of the year, but everyone has been in it together.

“It’s been a really big effort from everyone involved so credit to the staff, players, manager, coaches and all the fans too have stuck by us, coming all the way down here today too.
“It means the world to us for them to come support us, it’s a long trip, it can be expensive and we all really appreciate it, so we thank them so much.”
On the game itself, Cork admitted it was a tough afternoon for the Clarets, but believes the team gave everything to ensure the points returned to Lancashire.
“It was a really tough game; we gave absolutely everything today out there. It was quite hard for us to get into the game in the first half they were brilliant.
“We found ourselves without a lot of the ball, but then got two brilliant goals from Ian and managed to settle down in the second half and find a good shape to hold on to a good win."
