Do you dare to take on Burnley FC in the Community's Zipline Challenge?

On Wednesday 27th April 2022, BFCitC are encouraging participants to join their daredevil team as they take on Europe's longest zipline, Velocity 2, at Zip World, Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda, North Wales.

This event will be open to everyone and BFCitC are asking fundraisers and partners to raise a minimum of £300 per person to take on the unique challenge.

Zip World’s Velocity 2 takes participants zooming down a 1555-metre-long zip line, reaching speeds of up to 100mph whilst taking in breath-taking views over the Penrhyn Quarry Lake in Snowdonia.

Opened in 2013, Velocity 2 is the ultimate adrenaline rush, so if you are up to testing yourself for Burnley Football Club's award-winning official charity, why not take on the BFCitC zipline fundraiser.

Taking on the challenge provides a fantastic team-bonding opportunity and helps BFCitC to fund projects and serve the local community around Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, the Ribble Valley and West Yorkshire.

BFCitC transform the lives of our community for the better, and the dynamic community team now deliver over 50 projects that touch the lives of local residents, from children and young people through to senior citizens.

Return coach travel will be provided from Turf Moor at a cost of around £10pp – leaving at approximately 8.00 am and returning later in the afternoon after the team has taken on the challenge. This is open to anyone.

If you would like more details or to book this on to this superb fundraiser, please email BFCitC's Head of Partnerships & Fundraising, Ben Bottomley on b.bottomley@burnleyfc.com for more information.
