Esports player Brad Colston starts his journey today, representing both club and the nation in the FIFAe World Cup Xbox European Playoffs.

The FIFAe World Cup European Playoffs see the top 64 players in Europe complete for the 9 European places up for grabs in the FIFAe World Cup finals, which will take place in London on 6th - 9th August.

As well as a place in the final, there is a prize pot of $400,00 (£290,000) available in this round.

The competition starts off with the 64 players competing in a Swiss League format with 5 rounds. This type of format ensures that players are matched with other players who have either won or lost the same amount of games.

The more games a player wins, the higher up the table they will finish. The top 32 at the end of the day will then progress to the double elimination round, which will start tomorrow (Saturday 3rd July).

Swiss League	Day One

Round 2	4.30pm
Round 3	5.45pm
Round 4	7.00pm
Round 5	9.15pm
