Centre-back Nathan Collins admits he is looking forward to the chance of potential game time this weekend, as the Clarets host Huddersfield Town at Turf Moor.
The Ireland international has already made eight apperances for Sean Dyche's men this season in all competitions and will be looking to add to that this weekend in the FA Cup.
And Collins knows the side will be preparing as normal like every other game and searching for victory and progession into the next round of the FA Cup.
The 20-year old said: “On a personal note, it’s great, as there is a chance there to get gametime and I just want to play football.
“But we go into it with the same mentality, we want to win football games and put in a good performance.
“I think we can go well, we have a good squad here, with plenty of depth and great players.
“It’s a different competition to the Premier League, so our minds are focused on the FA Cup at the moment, as that’s the next one ahead for us.
“It’s going to be a tough game against Huddersfield, they’re in good form and are sixth in the Championship, so it won’t be a simple task at all.
“But we’re looking forward to Saturday now and will be looking for nothing but a win and to progress into the next round.”
With Sean Dyche testing positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, assistant manager Ian Woan will be taking charge of the side over the next few days.
But Collins states that preparation will be as normal leading up to the third-round tie.

“As far as I know, he’s alright. It doesn’t affect us as such, we still have the same set up and do what we always do.
“We train as normal and get ready to prepare for Saturday to go and get a result." Said Collins.
