Level Playing Field is celebrating their annual Unite For Access campaign, which aims to showcase the good work being done by clubs to improve accessibility and inclusion for disabled fans.
Burnley Football Club supports the campaign and are getting involved by helping disabled supporters learn about Level Playing Field and understand what the charity does, what its aims are to improve accessibility and inclusion, and how they can assist disabled fans.
Level Playing Field supports disabled sports fans through its membership and a variety of active initiatives.

Burnley FC’s continued commitment to Disabled Supporters
Last season, the Club outlined six commitments, in our aim to make Turf Moor a more inclusive environment for disabled supporters.
Work is still ongoing in this area, and we are pleased to update supporters on the following pledges.
Pledge 1: Launch the Sensory Room in the 2022/23 season for supporters who have learning difficulties, developmental disabilities, or sensory impairments to help them access football by utilising a safe environment.
Update: The sensory room will be launched at the start of next season.
Pledge 2: All customer service staff at Turf Moor will receive basic sign language training (the ticket office, supporter services, retail, and reception).
Update: Staff will be starting their training in the coming weeks. The training will be provided by Signature, which is nationally recognised and accredited by Ofqual.
Pledge 3: An accessible version of the programme will be made available for each first team home fixture, along with an accessible version of our annual impact report for the Club and Burnley FC in the Community.
Update: Work is still ongoing in this area.
Pledge 4: Close captions will be available on all match specific video content.
Update: We are currently exploring suitable technical options for close captioning on video content.
Pledge 5: Hearing loops will be available and advertised at the ticket office and the Clarets Store.
Update: Hearing loops are available at the ticket office, and we are currently in progress for other areas of the stadium. All to be completed by next season.
Pledge 6: An accessible guide will be available, that details Turf Moor for first time fans and caters for a range of disabilities. This will include a detailed and engaging guide to the stadium from key transport hubs at Turf Moor and the perimeter of the stadium.
Update: This can be located on the Burnley FC website, and we are constantly developing the guide, to make it as accessible and engaging as possible.
The Club also aim to work with supporter groups and the Burnley FC Inclusion Advisory Group, to find ways to make Turf Moor accessible and inclusive for all.
