Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm the arrival of goalkeeper Etienne Green on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old joins the Clarets from Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne and adds to the goalkeeping ranks ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.
After making the switch to Turf Moor, Green said: “It feels great to be here. I can’t wait to meet the team and get training & playing with them.
“I have always wanted to play for an English club, so to be here at a club like Burnley with the rich history is amazing. I’m excited and it really is a dream come true.”

The former England U21 international was born in Colchester to an English father and a French mother, before the shot-stopper moved to France aged four.
Green began his junior football career with ES Veauche in 2006, before joining St Etienne’s academy three years later.
After rising through the ranks for the French club and playing for the ‘B’ team, the goalkeeper signed his first professional deal in the summer of 2020.
Green, who has two England U21 caps, made his professional debut the following year in a victory over Nimes, where the youngster kept a clean sheet and saved a penalty.
Following over 35 top-flight appearances in France over the last four years, Green becomes Burnley’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
