Vincent Kompany and Clarets' Josh Brownhill, Nathan Tella, Ian Maatsen and Connor Roberts were named winners at the 2023 EFL Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane this evening.
The Clarets boss picked up the Manager of the Season for the Championship award, beating Middlesbrough's Michael Carrick and Coventry City's Mark Robins for the accolade.
The Belgian has enjoyed an incredible campaign, securing promotion to the top-flight at the first time of asking, with seven games to go and has netted the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award four times.
Four Clarets were also named in the Championship team of the season, which was awarded on the night.
The ever-present Josh Brownhill, who in addition to a place in the team, was nominated for the Championship EFL Player of the Season award. The midfielder has played 38 games for the Clarets this season and has 6 goals and 8 assists to his name.
Also named was left-back Ian Maatsen. The 21-year-old Dutch defender picked up the Skybet Championship Player of the Month Award for January, and has featured 36 times for Burnley, with 4 goals and 6 assists so far this campaign.
The Clarets top goal scorer Nathan Tella secured a spot in the team. With 17 goals this campaign, the forward has played an integral part in Burnley's success this season.
Welshman Connor Roberts completed the Claret quartet, featuring 40 times this season, netting 4 goals including the winner to seal promotion at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough earlier this month.
