23/10/2012 – Bristol City 3 - 4 Burnley (Ashton Gate)
Chris McCann’s dramatic stoppage time winner saw the Clarets claim all three points in an end-to-end seven-goal thriller at Ashton Gate.
Despite City looking to have ensured the points would be shared in the 90th minute through Paul Anderson’s strike, McCann was there to head home the winning goal deep into added time.
Burnley started bright and took an early lead through Charlie Austin in the 9th minute, before Steve Davies pulled the scores level less than 10 minutes later.
Austin bagged his second just before the hour mark, with Martin Paterson adding a third a minute later to extend the lead.
Sam Baldock pulled a goal back for the hosts with just over 10 minutes left on the clock, Anderson then smashed home an equaliser in the last minute with McCann notching the winner in stoppage time.

Burnley came out on the front foot and had an early chance through Junior Stanislas, but the winger’s effort could only fizz just wide of the target.
However, the deadlock was broken in the 9th minute when Austin latched onto McCann’s lofted ball, before rounding Tom Heaton and slotting into an empty goal.
The lead only last eight minutes though, as Davies stepped-up and fired in a free-kick from the edge of the area to draw the scores level.
Davies came close to a second goal with another free-kick, before Paterson then saw his close-range effort denied by Heaton, as the sides entered the break at 1-1.

However, there was no denying Paterson on the hour mark, as Burnley struck twice in two minutes to extend the lead.
First, Austin converted from the penalty spot after Paterson was brought down inside the area, before the Northern Ireland striker then turned home McCann’s cross at the back post to make it 3-1 just a minute later.
City clawed a goal back when Baldock slotted home from the penalty spot in the 77th minute, before Anderson poked in the rebound from Albert Adomah’s cross to pull the scores level
But with the game deep into stoppage time, the Clarets snatched their winner as McCann got on the end of Kieran Trippier’s free-kick to seal the victory.
