Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of Gabriel Otegbayo, who joins from SSE Airtricity League First Division outfit Cobh Ramblers following a successful trial period.
The towering centre back, who stands at 6’4’, was able to link up with Tony Philliskirk’s youth team as they spent a week in St Andrew’s, Scotland over pre-season.
And having continued to build fitness in the opening weeks of the campaign, Cork-born Otegbayo will now be in contention to make his debut this Saturday when the U18s face Wigan Athletic at the Burnley Training Centre in the group stages of the Professional Development League Cup.
