Tony Philliskirk’s side enjoyed an emphatic victory over the weekend, earning three league points thanks to a 4-1 victory over Derby County in which Warren Taylor netted a hat-trick.
The U18s will look to build on that when Brentford visit Burnley Training Centre in their first Group D match of this season’s Premier League Cup.

The U21s will be aiming to bounce back from a 4-3 defeat at Fulham last week when Reading make the trip to Leyland on Friday night.
Goals from Kian McMahon-Brown and Brandon Pouani gave Andy Farrell’s side a two-goal lead and Ellis Clark also found the net, but Fulham ultimately had enough to earn all three points.

Burnley Women conclude their pre-season schedule with a game against fellow Barclays Women’s Super League 2 side Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
Jackie Bachteler’s side have enjoyed a several behind-closed doors friendlies to date and are looking forward to playing in front of supporters in the northeast.
Kick-off at Gateshead International Stadium (NE10 0EF) is 2pm, and tickets can be purchased in advance of the day at £8 for adults, £6 for seniors, and £2 for juniors HERE.
