Burnley FC Women are pleased to formally announce the Lancashire FA County Ground as our designated home ground for the upcoming 2023/24 FA Women's National League North campaign.
Rebecca Sawiuk’s side played the majority of home league fixtures in Leyland in the previous campaign.
The only exceptions were a closely contested match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which was hosted at AFC Darwen's Anchor Ground, where the Clarets fell short in a 2-1 defeat, and the Claret Women's first game at Turf Moor against Liverpool Feds, in which they won 2-1.
The Claret Women remained unbeaten at the County Ground throughout the entirety of the 2022/23 FA Women's National League North season.
The County Ground will also serve as the home for our men's under-21 side during their season, affording fans the comfort and quality experience of our 500-seat stand.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Lancashire FA for their generosity in allowing us access to their top-tier facilities.
This collaborative partnership reaffirms our unwavering dedication to women’s football and ensures our continued use of these exceptional resources well into the future.
