Numerous community charities and good causes will benefit from tens of thousands of pounds of donations helping to support female football projects and health & wellbeing awareness.
Burnley FC in the Community will receive a windfall of £15,000 as Burnley F.C. official charity is awarded the cash boost following the announcement of the club’s partnership with BK8.
News of the charitable contribution comes as BK8 revealed its latest ambassador is sporting star Faye White MBE, former England captain and Arsenal WFC captain.
The goal to encourage more women to participate in the beautiful game is well timed as interest in female football reaches fever pitch following England’s historic Euro 2022 victory.
Faye White, England’s longest serving women’s captain to date, is BK8’s second female ambassador, following in the footsteps of fellow former footballer and ambassador Kelly Smith.
White said: “I am delighted to be announced as an ambassador for BK8 and thrilled they are providing such amazing support for numerous community charities linked to football clubs in the UK.
“It is incredibly important to encourage and inspire more female footballers and the stars of tomorrow, who will hopefully one day follow in the football boots of our triumphant Lionesses! I look forward to supporting many of the great community charities and causes that BK8 are championing in the women's game.”
