Burnley Football Club can confirm that Charlie Casper has joined FC United of Manchester on an initial 28-day loan.
The switch is the 19-year-old’s first move away from the Clarets since he signed scholarship terms in July 2021 and was later rewarded with a first professional contract in June 2023.
Grandson of Burnley legend Frank Casper, Charlie has been with the academy since the age of 11 and has made a string of appearances on the first team bench.
He will now gain valuable experience with the Northern Premier Division side, who are managed by Neil Reynolds and play at Broadhurst Park.
Casper could make his FC United debut in their Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round fixture against Hyde United tomorrow.
