Burnley will travel to Sky Bet League One side Shrewsbury Town in the Carabao Cup second round later this month.
Vincent Kompany's side received a bye in the first round, along with Friday's opponents Watford and the 13 Premier League sides not competing in Europe this season.
The Clarets faced Town last month in pre-season, where goals from Samuel Bastien, Bobby Thomas and Ne-Jai Tucker secured a 3-1 victory in Shropshire.
Our second round tie is scheduled to be played the week commencing Monday 22nd August.
Ticket details for the cup clash will be announced in due course.
