Ahead of the tournament, Stuart Hunt President of Business Operations at Burnley FC said: "This is the first year we've had the title sponsor Dude Perfect, who are a great partner. The tournament began in 2021 with eight teams, now it's grown to 16 teams, and we have further plans for it to grow. We want to grow it to 32 teams and beyond. We want this to be the destination spot for any academy to come and play in Europe.

"One of the goals that we had as ownership from the very beginning is anybody who comes into contact with anything at Burnley Football Club, we want them to leave uplifted and excited, and with a desire to come back. So, this is the same purpose for the International Youth Cup. From the teams who come, the players, the families, and spectators.

"The more we can do the better. We want this one to be even bigger. For the very first time we have two teams from the US coming to join us, which is very exciting. We're drawing talent from everywhere and it's only going to get bigger. Now is the beginning and we're only just getting started."

We look forward to welcoming you to the tournament!
