The Burnley FC X Dude Perfect International Youth Cup action is hotting up, with all 16 teams battling it out once again as part of a busy Saturday schedule.
In the morning all four groups were brought to a close, with the top two teams from each progressing to the Cup competition and the bottom two going on to complete for the Plate.
Everton topped Group A with six points from a possible nine, including three from an emphatic 10-1 victory over FC Midtjylland. Chelsea were runners up.
Group B saw Wolves and Juventus both earn six points, with the English side finishing on top because of a superior goal difference.
Group C was arguably the most competitive, with Rangers, Arsenal and Chicago Fire B all claiming six points. The first two progressed to the Cup competition via goal difference.
Newcastle United were the only team to have a perfect group record, with AC Milan coming second in Group D. Burnley finished 3rd.
Attention then turned to the knockout stages of both competitions, with all eight quarter finals being played in the afternoon.
Looking firstly at the Cup, Juventus beat Everton 2-1 and Wolves progressed with a 3-1 victory over Arsenal.
Joining them in the semi-finals are Rangers and Chelsea, who won 3-2 and 5-3 respectively.
In the Plate, Burnley progressed to the semi-finals with an emphatic 7-2 win over FC Midtjylland and Valencia beat Columbus Crew.
Liverpool were 2-1 victors over Benfica and an all-Chicago Fire clash saw their A team win 3-2.
All semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday, with the action starting at 10am. Following the matches, there will be a special closing ceremony at Burnley Training Centre.
