Burnley Football Club can confirm that defender Finn Armstrong has joined FC United of Manchester on a month-long youth loan which will run until October 23.
A product of the Clarets academy, Liverpool-born Armstrong joined at U13 level and has progressed through the ranks into the U21 setup where he was a regular last term playing in all bar two of the side’s Premier League 2 games.
Signing his first professional deal in the summer, the 19-year-old full-back already has experience in non-league having previously spent time with Padiham & Clitheroe.
He will now operate further up the pyramid with FC United in the Northern Premier League’s Premier Division.
