Zeki Amdouni is hoping the team can carry the momentum and confidence from Saturday’s thrashing over Sheffield United into the clash with Wolves but is expecting a challenging test from the hosts.
Speaking on Monday ahead of the Tuesday night meeting with Gary O’Neil’s men, Amdouni firstly reflected on the weekend which saw him score his first goal at Turf Moor.
The Switzerland forward, who turned 23-year-old on Monday said: “It’s always a good feeling to come into training after winning a game, but it’s also important to make sure we are ready for the next game around the corner.
“It’s a nice moment to score, especially at Turf Moor but to win the game was important to us. To score a goal and help the team out is always a great feeling.
“We’ve been playing well recently, the last three or four games have been really good performances but just not the result we wanted.
“To win the game and have more points now is good for us, but we know that it’s not going to be easy going to play Wolves on Tuesday.”

Following the 5-0 win over the Blades, Amdouni admits it can lift the team’s confidence going into the next game but insists it’s important the side don’t get carried away and remain focused ahead of the visit to Molineux.
“We have good confidence anyway; we stay level-headed and are confident going into every game regardless of the previous match.
“For sure. Like I said, it was really good to win, but it’s also good for confidence and everything else around it.
“To have a clean sheet for the team is great for the keeper, for the defenders and also for the midfield and strikers. It’s a very good feeling to score five goals and concede zero.
“But after the amazing win on Saturday, I hope there’s just not too much confidence as this can sometimes not be good for the team and we must be ready for the next game.” Said Amdouni.

The Clarets travel to Wolves on Tuesday for a second Premier League fixture in four days before Vincent Kompany’s side face Brighton & Hove Albion four days later.
But Amdouni believes it’s a positive to have a busy run of fixtures and is ready to get back to action on Tuesday.
“I think sometimes it’s not bad to have more than one game in a week and we know that in December it’s always a busy time of year with lots of games.
“It’s an important time of year for matches and we have to work hard on that, recover and be ready for it starting from Tuesday night."
The attacking midfielder knows the Clarets will face a test against Wanderers and had praise for the opposition ahead of the clash.
"They (Wolves) are a good team. They play some good football and we have seen some of the things they are able to do in matches.
"It's down to us to see what will work for us and try use our game plan to get the best result from the game but we need to be ready and we'll see what happens."
