Manager Vincent Kompany is hoping his side can use the sell-out Turf Moor crowd to their advantage on Saturday as Burnley host Lancashire opponents Preston North End.
The Clarets come up against the Lilywhites, who have won three of their last four away matches in the Sky Bet Championship and have the second most clean sheets in the league with 12.
Kompany knows Ryan Lowe's side will pose a strong threat and has high praise for their organisation and defence, but the Burnley boss hopes the home crowd can play it's advantage and his men use it to their strength in search of a tenth consecutive league win.
Speaking at the Burnley FC Training Ground on Thursday, Kompany said: “The boys have been doing really well for a while now and we just have to look forward to the next game which is Preston. That’s the only thing we have on our minds now.
“Preston are a team that are very well organised, I would say probably one of the best defensive teams in the league.
“They’re well drilled, they can be dangerous at set-pieces, they have a terrific away record this season too so we’re aware of the threat they have.
“It’s still about making it a ‘Turf Moor game’ for us, that’s been our strength this season and that’s all that matters.

Kompany added: “We thrive off each other and it’s shown this season, there’s a real connection and it drives us on every game at home.
“We know they are a good side but we have to use our home advantage and do a job in front of our fans.
The match will see the two sides meet up for the first time at Turf Moor since December 2015, but most recently the pair met at Deepdale in September which saw the honours shared in a 1-1 draw.
Kompany admits he knows the 'history' of the local games and that his side will embrace the electric atmosphere of another Lancashire derby at home.
The Clarets chief said: “It’s a bit of a derby this weekend too, so if you wanted to strengthen the connection anymore these are games you always want to do well in.
“There’s a lot of history in these derbies across the division that we have in the north-west, you get to know the geography of it and what It means to the supporters.
“We took 4,000 fans when we went to Preston, we did the same at Wigan and we will  be doing the same to Blackpool.
“It’s been good and we are looking forward to it and know it’s a big game for the supporters, but at this stage of season it’s something we embrace as well."
