Eight players from the Clarets academy were involved across the Football League & non-league pyramid for their respective loan clubs over the last seven days.
Scotland youth international forward Joe McGlynn took the headlines, on target for Hyde United for the second week running, and here’s a run down of how all eight fared.
Bobby Thomas (Bristol Rovers)
With a rare break from midweek action, centre back Thomas enjoyed a first-ever run out in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday as Joey Barton’s side progressed into the Second Round Proper courtesy of a 1-0 win at home to Rochdale.
Thomas, who joined the Clarets in 2017, played the full game with Scott Sinclair netting the winner.
