Burnley Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of Callum West from Macclesfield Town.
The 16-year-old midfielder, who has made eight first team appearances this season for the Silkmen, will join up with the Clarets' academy in pre-season this summer.
West has featured in four Premier Division fixtures for Macclesfield, alongside four cup competition appearances this season, since joining Danny Whittaker's first team in October last year from the U16s group.
The teenager made his Macclesfield senior debut on 7th December 2021 against Stockport County in the Cheshire Senior Cup.
West then grabbed his first senior goal for the promoted champions in March, in a 6-0 win over Avro.
And the youngster was named the Macclesfield FC Young Player of the Season for the 2021/22 season.
