A MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGER (2023, 2)
Vinny's notes ahead of today's game
2023-12-16T15:00:00.000Z
Welcome back to Turf Moor tonight and we know you’ll help create a classic atmosphere under the lights.
We travelled back from the long trip to Brighton last weekend after an outstanding first half and looking dangerous for large spells against a really good team and we take that belief into the next game.
We were all disappointed last week for Luca Koleosho when we found the full extent of his injury. He’s been a revelation for us this season, but we know he will come back stronger from this setback and all wish him a speedy recovery.
But when one door closes - another opens.
Wilson Odobert grabbed the chance he was given and no doubt there are others ready to show us their worth.
Finally, we extend a warm welcome back to Sean Dyche and Everton.
I’m sure many of you have fond memories of his service for over a decade here at Burnley and you will give him a proper Turf Moor reception!
But tonight, of course, he’s our opponent so we’ll put that friendship on pause until the full-time whistle!
Merry Christmas!
Vinny
