Vinny's notes ahead of this afternoon's game
Hello again!
Chelsea are the visitors today and we welcome Mauricio Pochettino, and everyone connected with the club to Turf Moor.
It’s the last game here for almost a month and we’ll be looking to send you home with smiles on your faces!
It was good to get the win at Luton Town on Tuesday night.
You saw that it had been coming and it felt like a reward for the good performances we’ve been having.
We continued to show the fight and character that served us well last season and that will continue to lift us to higher places.
It was a good night for the fans and a good night for the club - but now we move on and look towards the game this afternoon and the opportunity to show more of you what we can do.
Before the match we will take the knee in support of the No Room For Racism dedicated match weekend.
It’s about promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
Saying no to any form of discrimination.
This is all we ask and hope you can support us in this.
Vinny
