Welcome back to Turf Moor!
Three months have passed since we were last here and we’re ready for the new challenge now in the Premier League.
It was great to see so many of you following us at our pre-season matches across Europe. The games were helpful for us fitness wise, especially for the new players.
I’m sure you’ll give all our new signings a warm welcome to Turf Moor - they are already showing us how well they can fit in here every day we work with them. They will need your support, just like the rest of the team, in good and bad times - like you have given them all on so many occasions.
This season is no different to last - we’re going to have work hard to get the cohesion and then grow as a group and it’s being a group that will help us again this season.
Finally, you are so important to us tonight and always. You help make Turf Moor a fortress. A cauldron that makes visiting teams uncomfortable.
Let’s continue to stand shoulder to shoulder, show the world who we are and exactly how powerful we can be when we are all together.
Vinny
