01/01/2025 - Burnley 0 - 0 Stoke City (Turf Moor)

Burnley's unbeaten Sky Bet Championship run was extended to 12 matches on New Year's Day, as the Clarets were held to a goalless draw with Stoke City at Turf Moor.

The Clarets had chances to clinch a winning goal on a frustrating afternoon for the hosts, but the result saw the Clarets still undefeated at home and a 16th clean sheet of the campaign secured.

04/01/2025 - Blackburn Rovers 0 - 1 Burnley (Ewood Park)

Zian Flemming wrote his name in the Burnley history books, after his header saw the Clarets claim all three points in the East Lancashire Derby at Ewood Park.

The winning and only goal came with an hour played, as Flemming met Bashir Humphreys’ pinpoint cross into the area and crashed home what turned out to be the winning goal.

The victory saw Burnley extend their unbeaten run against Rovers to 11 matches and a fifth straight win at Ewood Park in all competitions.

11/01/2025 - Reading 1 - 3 Burnley (Select Car Leasing Stadium)

Zian Flemming's brace in extra time saw the Clarets book their place in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 3-1 win over Reading.

Lyle Foster gave Burnley the lead in the 71st minute, after the South Africa striker turned home Joe Bauress' perfect delivery, only for Reading's Lewis Wing to equalise for the hosts just minutes later.

With the scores level after 90 minutes, the game proceeded to extra time, but the Clarets got their second goal 10 minutes in when Flemming slotted home from inside the area.

Nine minutes later the Dutch striker turned home his second and the visitors' third to put the game out of reach and book Burnley's place in round four.

17/01/2025 - Burnley 0 - 0 Sunderland (Turf Moor)

James Trafford's magnificent double penalty saves in the final stages of Burnley's draw with Sunderland saw the points shared in a dramatic finish at Turf Moor under the lights.

Both sides had chances to break the deadlock across the 90 minutes in an end-to-end encounter, before Trafford stepped up to become the hero (twice!) of the game in the dying stages.

The Burnley No.1 saved Wilson Isidor's first penalty in the 87th minute, before then keeping out the Frenchman's second spot-kick in stoppage time to ensure the Clarets remained 15 matches unbeaten and undefeated on home soil in the 2024/25 campaign.

22/01/2025 - Plymouth Argyle 0 - 5 Burnley (Home Park)

Burnley extended their unbeaten run to 16 matches in emphatic fashion with a dominant and deserved 5-0 win over Plymouth Argyle.

Braces from Zian Flemming and Josh Laurent, followed by Josh Cullen's first goal of the campaign, gave the Clarets all three points at Home Park.

Flemming opened the scoring with a spectacular strike inside the 11th minute, before grabbing his and Burnley's second shortly after.

Laurent fired home the third with a fine effort, before then heading in the fourth of the game almost on the stroke of half-time, before Cullen slotted in the fifth of a fine first-half, deep into stoppage time.

27/01/2025 - Burnley 0 - 0 Leeds United (Turf Moor)

Burnley continued their impressive defensive record and extended their unbeaten run to 17 matches against promotion rivals Leeds United following a goalless draw with Daniel Farke's side.

Neither side could find a way through in the cagey encounter, which saw the Clarets secure a 20th clean sheet of the 2024/25 campaign.
