The Clarets began the festive month with a point, after coming from behind to ensure their Sky Bet Championship unbeaten run was extended to six matches, following a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough at Turf Moor.
Boro opened the scoring in the 13th minute from Anfernee Dijksteel's strike, before Connor Roberts equalised in fine fashion with a lobbed effort over the head of a stranded Seny Dieng.
There were chances for the Clarets to go and win the game in a dominant performance, but the results saw the points shared in Lancashire and Burnley's undefeated home record remain.
10/12/2024 - Burnley 0 - 0 Derby County (Turf Moor)
Burnley's unbeaten Sky Bet Championship run was extended to seven matches just a few days later, as the Clarets were held to a goalless draw against Derby County at Turf Moor.
There were plenty of chances throughout the dominant display from the home side to win the game, but Burnley just couldn't quite find a way through past the Rams.
15/12/2024 - Norwich City 1 - 2 Burnley (Carrow Road)
Second-half goals from Zian Flemming and Josh Brownhill saw the Clarets come from behind to claim all three points at Carrow Road and extend their Sky Bet Championship unbeaten run to eight matches following a 2-1 victory against Norwich City.
It was a dream start for the hosts, as City took an early lead in the 2nd minute, with defender Jose Cordoba meeting Borja Sainz's corner to glance home the opener.
After being on the pitch for less than five minutes, Flemming then pulled the scores level with a terrific effort from 30-yards out, with the forward picking out the the top corner with just over 20 minutes left to play.
Burnley then took the lead and snatched the winning goal in the 76th minute, as Brownhill latched onto Jaidon Anthony's header into the area and smashed it home past Angus Gunn.
21/12/2024 - Burnley 2 - 1 Watford (Turf Moor)
Jaidon Anthony's first Turf Moor goal and Josh Brownhill's eighth goal of the campaign saw the Clarets take all three points and extend their unbeaten run to nine matches with a dominant and deserved 2-1 victory over Watford at a wet and windy Turf Moor before Christmas.
Burnley started on the front foot and got their opening goal in the ninth minute, as Anthony met and slammed home Brownhill's pin-point cross into the area.
The skipper then got his own name on the scoresheet and added the Clarets' second of the afternoon to double the advantage with a lovely curled effort into the top corner in the second-half.
Watford did pull a goal back from a corner in the 80th minute against the run of play, but the hosts were able to ensure the points stayed in Lancashire, with the result seeing Burnley remain undefeated at Turf Moor this season.
26/12/2024 - Sheffield United 0 - 2 Burnley (Bramall Lane)
Burnley's unbeaten Sky Bet Championship run was extended to 10 matches on Boxing Day, as the Clarets came out on top against the Blades at Bramall Lane with a deserved 2-0 victory.
After an even first-half, the Clarets opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time when Brownhill met Bashir Humphreys' cross with a back-post header for his ninth goal of the campaign, before Zian Flemming's fierce effort extended the visitors' advantage just after the break.
29/12/2024 - Middlesbrough 0 - 0 Burnley (Riverside Stadium)
Burnley continued their Sky Bet Championship unbeaten run on in the final game of the calendar year, after a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough saw the points shared at the Riverside Stadium.
There were opportunities for the Clarets throughout the game to claim all three points, with Josh Brownhill and Jaidon Anthony coming closest, however the points were forced to be shared.
