Jeff Hendrick has been recognised by the Premier League after joining an exclusive club at Turf Moor.
The Clarets’ midfielder clocked up 100 top-flight appearances with a goal-scoring performance at Brighton earlier this month.
And the Ireland international was honoured with the presentation of a commemorative medal – backed by award sponsors Cadbury – to mark the milestone at the Clarets’ Barnfield Training Centre.
“To play 100 games in the Premier League is something I’ve always wanted to and hopefully there are plenty more to come,” said Hendrick, who has played all his Premier League games with Burnley after signing from Derby County in August 2016.
“I’m in good company here and it’s nice it’s come at a good time for the team.”
Hendrick, who played a big part in the Clarets’ 2-0 win over Norwich City on his first league start of the season last Saturday, becomes the third current Burnley player to make 100 Premier League appearances.
And he will move joint third on the all-time list – going level with Sam Vokes – if he features at Aston Villa on Saturday.
Burnley’s top 10 Premier League appearance makers:

Jeff Hendrick – 101
