LADBROKES | Burnley v Southampton Preview

2 February 2019

Burnley welcome Southampton this weekend after coming agonisingly close to beating Manchester United in midweek.

Despite that late setback at Old Trafford, Sean Dyche’s team have been in great form in league action. They’re unbeaten in five, picking up 11 of the last 15 points available.

With both of these sides level on 23 points, they’ll be looking for a crucial win here.

Before it gets underway, your official betting partner Ladbrokes have all the key odds…

Match Odds

Burnley are unbeaten in their last four meetings against Southampton. Saints have never won at Turf Moor in the Premier League either.

Our traders have the Clarets as 31/20 favourites to make it three home wins on the bounce. The

The draw is going for 11/5, while Burnley or Draw is a 2/5 Double Chance shot.

Correct Score and Goals

This fixture finished 1-1 this year. There’s 5/1about a repeat scoreline this time around.

A 1-0 home win isn’t far behind at 7/1. And it’s worth bearing in mind that Burnley have scored twice in each of their last two home outings. We go 17/2 for a 2-1 win.

The last four clashes between these two have each seen Under 2.5 Goals. This one is 8/11 to follow suit.

Goalscorer Odds

Ashley Barnes scored the opener in this fixture last term. And after breaking the deadlock against United in midweek, he’s 5/1 to grab the first goal again here.

After netting in two of his previous three home appearances, Chris Wood is 2/1 to get on the scoresheet too.

With both sides desperate to avoid defeat, we could be in for a cagey game. And set pieces could make the difference. James Tarkowski always poses a threat in the air – he’s 11/2 to score anytime.
