Wells Secures QPR Loan Move

Striker heads back to Championship club on season-long deal

8 August 2019

Nahki Wells has left Turf Moor on loan to re-join Queens Park Rangers.

Wells – who scored nine goals for the Championship side in 2018/19 – has completed another season-long loan to Loftus Road.

The 29-year-old, who joined the Clarets from Huddersfield Town in August, 2017, spent pre-season back with Burnley after playing for Bermuda in the Concacaf Gold Cup earlier in the summer.

Wells featured in a number of pre-season games but has been allowed to return to QPR for the chance of more regular first-team football.
