Burnley Football Club is delighted to announce that the north east accessible stand, situated between the James Hargreaves and Jimmy McIlroy stands, will be fully operational for the upcoming Premier League season.
Gate E1 is the dedicated entrance for this stand, which will be occupied by over 50 disabled fans, along with personal assistants and family and friends, for the first time this Saturday.
The south east accessible stand, situated between the Jimmy McIlroy and Bob Lord stands, will, however, not be in use this weekend.
The stand is nearing completion and we are working hard to ensure it will be available for a necessary test event at one of the next two home Premier league fixtures.
Saturday also sees the introduction at Turf Moor of VAR.
When VAR becomes active, information will be communicated to supporters via displays on the big screen, coinciding with PA announcements for those unable to view the slides.
The club has a second screen yet to be installed, once a suitable location is agreed.
