Burnley striker Chris Wood has been nominated for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month for April.
The New Zealand international has made the shortlist following a productive month that saw him involved in five of the Clarets’ seven goals.
Wood was on target at the beginning of the month in the 3-1 win at Bournemouth, where he also assisted Ashley Barnes for the crucial third goal.
The Kiwi bagged a vital brace in the 2-0 home win over Cardiff City, and provided an assist to strike partner Barnes to earn a 2-2 draw at Chelsea.
Wood is joined on the shortlist by Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah, Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Aymeric Laporte (Manchester City), Shane Long (Southampton), Ayoze Perez (Newcastle United) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester City).
