Nick Pope swept the board as the supporters’ clubs held their end-of-season awards night at Turf Moor.
The Clarets’ goalkeeper won the Player of the Year prize from 11 of the 13 different clubs.
And Pope also won the overall Player of the Season award from a cumulative vote.
Only Johann Berg Gudmundsson (Colne Clarets, above) and Steven Defour (London Clarets) prevented a clean sweep by Pope, whose emergence this season as a top-class Premier League keeper, to help put Burnley on the brink of Europe, has struck a real chord with fans.
Ashley Barnes was another multiple winner of the night, thanks to his goal-of-the-season strike at West Bromwich Albion.
However, the frontman didn’t have it all his own way, with the Clarets’ magnificent team effort to secure a 1-0 win at Everton, coolly finished by Jeff Hendrick, earning the Irishman his share of silverware.
A special achievement award was accepted by Clarets skipper Tom Heaton on behalf of goalkeeping predecessor and Turf Moor legend Colin McDonald.
And coach Billy Mercer was given The Roger Haworth Unsung Hero Award (accepted on his behalf by assistant manager Ian Woan, below) for his work with the Clarets’ thriving goalkeeping department.
