The youth team ran out 3-1 winners at Hull City in their last U18 Professional Development League match of the year.
With new U18 boss Tony Philliskirk watching on from the sidelines for the first time since his appointment, Jaydon Major opened the scoring for the Clarets just 58 seconds into the game, with a drilled effort into the bottom corner.
However, the home side equalised through Dan Hawkins' strike just 15 minutes later.
Burnley, still being managed by John Townson until after this week's FA Youth Cup tie, regained the lead moments later as Will Harris volleyed home past a stranded Harrison Vaulkes.
And the visitors nearly had a third just before the break, as Dylan Meredith's free-kick was denied with an excellent save from Vaulkes.
However, it was the Clarets who struck again in the second half, as Meredith crossed for Harris, who turned his marker and fired the third into the bottom corner.
And Harris came close to securing a hat-trick late on, as Vaulkes pulled off another great save to deny the striker from close range.
The Clarets end the calendar year in fith place in the Northern Professional Development League, with former Oldham youth Team coach Philliskirk set to take the reins in full in the new year.
