Chris Wood has his set his goals on a festive feast of points to keep Burnley driving up the Premier League table.
Wood’s third goal of the season against Wolves on Monday helped the Clarets extend their unbeaten run to four games and just one defeat in seven.
And the Kiwi, who returns to former club Leeds United on December 27, is eyeing a repeat performance as the Clarets look to end the year on a high.

Wood said: “It’s nice to put a run together and that’s what we need to do, so it’s nice to put another three points on the board and get closer to where we want to be.
“There’s still a long way to go, but let’s hope this is the turning point. Time will tell, but we know we are capable of going on an unbeaten run, so let’s hope we can carry that on into the festive period and the new year.
“We just need to keep working hard and doing as we do on the training pitch and taking that into games.”
Wood’s strike partner, Ashley Barnes, justified his recall to the side with the first goal against Wanderers; his first goal in 13 months.

And after a slow collective start on the goals front, Wood feels the strikers at Turf Moor will all play their part if the chances continue to come.
He added: “We have four great strikers at our club that are all pushing each other for a start, so we know we have goals in our team.
“That’s what we need to bring to the team because we are solid at the back, and it’s all about creating more chances now.
“Against Wolves we did that and now we need to take that into the upcoming games.
“It was fantastic to see Barnesy on the scoresheet. He had an injury troubled season last season, so it was really down to him not playing so much.
“But we know what a top player he is and he’s a goalscorer at heart, so it’s great to have him back.”
