Burnley Women will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to four matches when they take on Stourbridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Clarets have won two of their last three matches, including a 2-1 victory over Stoke City last time out.
After going behind to in-form Potters striker Heidi Logan, Rebecca Sawiuk’s team showed real determination and resilience to stay in the game.
The Head Coach made two halftime changes in Rhema Lord-Mears and Laura Elford, and the former equalised with a stunning strike from range.
Elford then marked her return from injury in style, heading in a Lizzy Hamer cross in the seventh minute of stoppage time at the end of the 90.
Burnley are 3rd in the Northern Premier Division of the Women’s National League table with a game in hand on 2nd-placed Nottingham Forest, who are four points better off.
This weekend’s opponents Stourbridge are competing at the other end of the 12-team table, currently occupying 10th place.
They’re eight points clear of the relegation zone, but 11th-placed Huddersfield Town have two games in hand, meaning they’re not out of danger yet.
The Glassgirls won a third straight promotion to reach the third tier this season and have won four and drawn three of their 17 fixtures to date.
Mike Harris’ team have lost their last five matches in all competitions, including a 4-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion last time out.
Burnley won the reverse fixture 4-1 at the County Ground in Leyland.
After Stourbridge took a 13th-minute lead through Kelsey Richardson the Clarets hit back through Leah Embley, Aimee Kelly, Thea Paul and Millie Ravening.
